Coordinator
Dr. Odo-Okuonghae coordinates our prevention workshops known as HipHop Heals. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, his MA from Antioch University LA, and his BA from Prairie View A&M University. His professional experience includes child study, family systems, play therapy, psychodynamic, emotional focus therapy full batter assessments, humanistic therapy, group therapy, couples counseling adolescence counseling, sports psychology, and cognitive behavioral Therapy. He is currently in private practice focusing on providing psychodynamic therapy with children, couples, families and adults; trauma victims and sports psychology. He has been providing therapeutic services since 2012, including as a school psychologist, a group therapist, an LMFT. His clinical training includes Emotional Focus Couple Therapy. His professional positions include being a member of the Board of Directors of the LA County Psychological Association, and a convention committee member of the California Psychological Association. His educational awards include Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities (2006), Psi Chi National Honor Society (2006), Antioch University Los Angeles Autobiography Scholarship (2012), and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Student Presidential Scholarship (2014).
